I began my journey with Disneyland Paris in 2014, working as part of the Character and Special Events teams. During my time there, I performed across both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park, bringing Disney stories and experiences to life through character performances, live events, and parades.
As part of the Disney Events team in London, Ben has performed and collaborated on a wide range of events for Disney, Lucasfilm, and Fox across the UK and Europe. Working across live entertainment, corporate events, and special experiences, Ben has contributed to projects for a variety of global brands and organisations, including The Base Awards, Bake Off Italia, Santander, MotoGP, eBay, O2, ASOS, and Fox TV, alongside numerous charitable initiatives and hospital visits.
Ben began working with Hong Kong Disneyland in 2018, performing across a variety of stage shows, parades, and special events. During his time with the resort, he was part of numerous large-scale entertainment experiences, bringing Disney stories to life for guests from around the world.
His performance work included castle stage shows, character-driven productions, parades, seasonal celebrations, and special events, including major resort milestones and international broadcasts. Ben has also contributed to Disney commercials, hotel entertainment, and live events, including the Castle of Magical Dreams Opening Ceremony and the Disney+ launch celebration.
Alongside performing, Ben has been a regular voice-over artist for park announcements and has proudly supported numerous charitable Disney initiatives, representing the values of creativity, connection, and storytelling that are at the heart of the Disney experience.
In 2021, Ben became part of the Cast Advisory Council (CAC) at Hong Kong Disneyland, a platform dedicated to improving communication between entertainers and leadership. As a representative within the council, Ben helped provide a voice for performers by sharing feedback, discussing ideas, and supporting initiatives that enhanced the working environment for cast members.
Through this role, Ben contributed to creating a more collaborative and supportive culture, encouraging entertainers to share their perspectives, strengthening communication between departments, and helping organise events that brought performers together and built team spirit.
In 2022, Ben became the Maintenance Choreographer for Moana: A Homecoming Celebration at Hong Kong Disneyland. Working closely with the Show Director and original Choreographer, Ben was responsible for maintaining the artistic quality, consistency, and performance standards of the production.
The role involved supporting the show’s ongoing operation through choreography installation, teaching and refining movement, rehearsing with cast and crew, providing detailed performance notes, and collaborating closely with performers, creative teams, and operational management to ensure the production continued to be delivered at the highest standard.
In 2019, Ben choreographed and directed Dancecode Performing Arts School for a special performance at Disneyland Paris. The group performed a 20-minute dance production at the Videopolis Theatre, showcasing the talent and creativity of his students on an international stage.
